2018 Season Opening Party for the MVCVA Art Cooperative

THE MVCVA Art Cooperative will celebrate its Season’s Opening with a party from 4 – 7 pm on Saturday, May 26th.  Join us for refreshments and music and ART! The gallery will be open at 11 am that day. We are welcoming two new artists to the Cooperative this season, Ruth Kirchmeier and Joan LeLacheur. Our other members have been very productive this winter and their new work will be on display.

Open House November 25th from noon-5

Stop by the ART Gallery from noon – 5 on Saturday, November 25th for munchies, cider and wine, and to view a wide selection of holiday gift options from our cooperative artists. We have new pastel paintings by Anna Finnerty, new decorative functional pottery and tiles by Heather Goff, pieces from Kenworthy Designs winter collection and much more. Rene Balter has donated posters (valued at $20) of her award winning painting, Welcome to Oak Bluffs, which will be given free  (a poster) with any gallery purchase.


Join us on Saturday, October 7th from 10 – 3pm as the ART Gallery is hosting an ART YARD SALE. Artists will have work at discounted rates as well as art and studio supplies. Selected work in the gallery will also be on sale and the gallery is open until 6.

Arts District Stroll on September 2nd, 2017

Featuring the following galleries:  MV ART,   Alison Shaw, Josephine, Judith Drew Schubert Open Studio, and Lucinda Sheldon Jewelry.   Invited guest artists will include: June Schoppe, Suesan Stovall, Myrna Morris, Faye Kontje and Sarah Young.  Author Kate Hancock will be signing/selling her books, “Roses on the Wallpaper” and “Windswept”.  Artist Richard Limber will be giving out free tickets for a screening of his 8 minute film, “Day and Night” (on the Vineyard) that will show at Limber Studio on Wing Rd at 8PM following the Stroll.
All galleries will offer refreshments and MV ART will present the music of Nancy Jephcote & Friends.  There will be a drawing to pick the winner of Renee Balters giclee print, “Island Theater” at 6:30.
